Nobilis Carrere Montebello Rum No. 22C 2007
One taster called it a "flüssiges Kräuterbonbon" — a liquid herbal candy — and that's the vibe: dried herbs, yellow fruit and black pepper, with the cognac cask pushing brown sugar, raisin and vanilla on top. A 13-year Guadeloupe agricole that stays gentle at 43.4%. Several folks wished for more punch, but most found it a soft, well-balanced way into the grassy agricole style.

How does Nobilis Carrere Montebello Rum No. 22C 2007 taste?
Aggregated from 31 community reviews.
Soft, cognac-cask agricole, easy to sip Well-liked as an elegant, easygoing agricole where the cognac finish really shows. The common gripe: at 43.4% it feels a touch tame, and the finish fades fast.
People easing into agricole who want soft, fruity, cognac-tinged rum

Wonderful nose and palate. Here the aging has really worked for the good.

A lovely release. Fresh and lightly fruity with nicely integrated ABV. I would have loved a bit more power, read higher ABV preferably above 55% because that's where the Montebello's usually really kick in.

Also schon reduziert ins Fass…?) 22C.

Review by Jakob
