Insanely unaged rum with infinite fruits/eggs. Best white savanna if not unaged in general. In any case, I've never had anything that can hold a candle to this bottling. Endless fun, both in a cocktail and neat.

This one was a retaste and I stick to my score from the first run. ------------- A nice rum from Habitation, not up to the others I tried in this batch, but still OK. The nose is funky and fruity. There is also a slight sweetness with solvents, tar and wet tobacco. The palate is living up to the nose with funk and fruitiness. A rather intense palate with varnish and a floral note on top. The finish is long and warm with orange zest and a smoky touch.

Day 21 in the Christmas calendar. Blind!There's not many of such an aromatic profile...Nose: Fruit bomb. Fermented fruits like raspberry, strawberry, honeydew melon. Fruit vinegar! Very intense and artificial. Attractive and repulsive in equal measure, making it insanely interesting. I like this...Palate: one of the few rums where the palate follows the nose.... Sweet-bitter, fermented fruit, raspberry, strawberry. Very artificial, very intense, very exaggerated very interesting ...

The smell is full cannon red fruit, mixed with bubble gum and solvent, as well as, when freshly poured, olives. Taste-wise, the High Ester Rum Reunion skins you right out of your socks. Intense after a decent load of fermented fruit and varnish/medicine. In the finish, the fruits still remain Ewig. From the 62.5% one notices comparatively little. The price of 55€ (as of January 22) is definitely justified, considering how exceptional this Savanna tastes. A very HERRlicher rum.Edit: Abgefahren how many different flavors prevail on the palate and in the nose. Have this time still a touch of fried bacon in the nose, after all the fruit is gone.

In der Nase Himbeer, Banane, florale Noten und Funk. Im Mund dann kräftig fruchtig funky. Alkohol ist spürbar. Abgang kräftig und lang, prickelt noch lange auf der Zunge. Garantiert nicht für jeden aber sehr interessant.

Incredibly intense and funky nose. Esters, red fruits, and glue. The impressions remain in the mouth, complemented by lots of strawberry. The alcohol is superbly integrated for a strong aged rum. It's really terrific how mild it is. Excellent rum that does something like this.

Premier test d’un « high ester ». Découverte. Premier nez très porte sur l’alcool ensuite on sent bien le solvant. Première gorgée aussi surprenante, brûlant un peu la langue. Et puis les arômes se libèrent et on est déboussolés par la quantité d’arômes !

Très surprenant, au nez ça resemble a tout sauf du rhum, tellement ça sent le bonbon. En bouche, presque le même ressenti. Jusqu’à l’arrivée de certains marqueurs qui nous mettent clairement sur du rhum. Une belle longueur. J’en boirai pas tous les jours, mais c’est plutôt bien fait 😊

Zuerst als Santa Maria Daiquiri mit Faudes Kirschbrand probiert - eine richtige Geschmacksbombe! Auch pur hat diese rrum noch super viele rote Früchte zu bieten und überrascht damit positiv. Ester und Alkohol sind super eingebunden

A highly aromatic Savanna unaged in High Ester mode. The nose is concentrated and extremely fruity, with red fruit (strawberry, raspberry), ripe tropical fruit, apple, melon and tangy citrus. Medicinal notes combine with floral fragrances and the vegetal notes of aromatic herbs and olive to create a very fresh, fragrant nose. A very pleasant rum to smell. The attack on the palate is just as gripping, with strong red fruit notes (raspberry, strawberry), funky notes of esters, varnish, solvents and glue, and hints of olive, flowers and herbs that add a spicy edge to the juice. The alcohol is remarkably well integrated, without the slightest aggressiveness, even though this is a rum with character. The finish is long, sustained by velvety, ripe red fruit, phenolic, floral and herbaceous notes. Notes of pepper and leather tingle the aftertaste, with a sensation of warmth that's not unpleasant. A highly accomplished white rum that works wonders neat or in mixology.

Wow, what a board! Nose: Strawberry and red berries in general, almost like gummy bears floating in a lake of glue and solventy notes. Mouth: Similar story here, but with the distinct olive brine character you get from Savanna. Finish: Long, fruity, and delicious. Yummy. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Une salade de fruits mûrs, un brin de colle, de la saumure. Une délicatesse folle malgré un côté extrême. Excellent. Vraiment superbe ! J'ai souvent du mal avec les rhum Savanna vieillis mais leurs blancs et tout particulièrement celui-ci est incroyable.

Nach dem Einschenken macht sich direkt das Gummibärchen-/Kaugummi-Aroma im Raum breit. Gefällt mir schonmal sehr gut. Am Gaumen dann auch eine leicht medizinische Note und nicht ganz so rund wie die Nase, aber trotzdem sehr lecker und alles dabei was die Nase versprochen hat. Gefällt mir in Summe richtig gut, vermutlich sogar das Beste was ich bisher an "weißen" Rum im Glas hatte. Macht sich bestimmt noch besser in Cocktails. Bin gespannt auf den neuen HV Herr :)

I really love these awesome, olive-like, unaged Savannas. On the nose here, more olive than on the palate, on the palate nicely floral but above all fruity (strawberry and raspberry), very funky and definitely tasty.

Pronounced funky nose with lots of red berries and vegetal aromas. This image continues on the palate. Very powerful and intense. Alcohol could be a little better integrated. Also makes a super daiquiri
