It presents itself as an interesting drink with a certain element of complexity, opening up to more fruity tones with a sweeter finish but with a strong presence of alcohol. It's worth exploring this Ron and feeling the strength and tradition of Venezuela.

Light nose with some fruit, vanilla and a little sweetness. Alcohol quite present in the mouth. Similar flavors as before on the nose. Medium long finish.

3EM - Had a younger version before. But this bottle was one sale and had a nice box. Overall similar to the younger rum, but more oak notes (vanilla, caramel, woodiness). Still has sharpness that the younger has. Fun experiment since have had the younger. It does have a nice halo when looking through the glass showing it is aged. Honestly about what I expected from tasting the younger. Not my personal favorite but good try so can reference people to it that like the flavor profile. I'm just a fan of more hogo rums but this might be good reference for rye drinkers to try.
