#5106 13.02.2025 Running some samples at home while relaxing on the final days of my vacation. Nose Round, balanced, fresh, light floral, sugarcane, light citrus, light olive, mineral. Palate Round, light oily, light citrus, light olive, faint salt, mineral, floral, light herbal, sugarcane. Finish Balanced, light oily, fruits, olive, light salt, mineral, light floral, sugarcane. Empty glass Sugarcane, light floral, light cumin, lemon. The flavours spread as soon as you start pouring this rum into the glass.

Nez extra(la canne fraîche et sucrée), bouche un peu plus vive avec une touche poivrée. Pour moi un des meilleurs rapport qualité/ prix dans les blancs agricoles . Va très bien en ti punch , voir pur avec un petit zeste de citron vert

Belle découverte que ce Papillon ! Le nez est très aromatique, sur la canne fraîche, vraiment agréable, avec un épicé charmant. La bouche est également agréable malgré un côté métalique et l’alcool est légèrement brûlant. La finale est moyenne

I’ve built my own calendar with samples from Rhum Attitude. In slot #1 I had the Papillon Blanc from Guadeloupe named after the islands nickname. It’s an Agricole from the Esperance distillery owned by François Longueteau. The distillery also produces the brands Longueteau and Karukera. It’s distilled in a Creole column and is a blend of 70% blue cane, 20% red cane and 10% yellow cane at ABV 53%. A very good start for the calendar.

La Route des Rhums Adventskalender 2022 Nr. 5. Wieder ein unaged Agricole. Gefällt mir aber nicht so. Nase wie gehabt tropische Früchte und Agricole. Am Gaumen dann aber doch sehr alkoholisch. Außerdem kommt Zuckerrohr zu Vorschein. Finde ihn aber zu bitter für eine bessere Bewertung.
