Caramelized macadamia, sour cherry and soft cane sugar over an elegant, rounded oak — that's the picture members keep painting. The wine-cask finish brings a sweeter, floral, almost pastry-like edge that most find pleasant rather than distracting. Agricole character shows more on the palate than the nose. Lovely and gentle at 45%, though several note a short finish and wish it hit a little harder.

Un très bon rhum, très bien fait. Vivacité des arômes, cohérence en bouche. Finale courte néanmoins et je suis un peu déçu par rapport à sa réputation… et son prix actuel. Il manque des watts. J’espère pouvoir goûter un jour la version intégrale.

Fruchtiger Rum und ganz angenehm zu trinken. Das Weinfinish ist spürbar, stört aber nicht. Evtl. Etwas mehr Alkoholintegration wäre wünschenswert. Vielen Dank an Flo für das Sample für die Franconian Tasting Gang 👌

Très bon. Alcool très bien intégré, le finish sauterne apporte une belle gourmandise . Très beau nez, on sent bien les épices et le boisé avec la présence de la vanille. Belle longueur en bouche. Des notes de cuir sur le final.

Robe super grasse les larmes sont extrêmement lentes et épaisses. Nez : un bon côté pâtissier, gourmand avec des agrumes (oranges en prédominance). Orange type bitter angostura. Gros côté pâtissier vanille, sucre de canne voire caramel de sucre de canne. Des légères notes de torréfaction type cacao, chocolat. Au nez, Klaudia a ressenti le côté moelleux du vin blanc (fut château d’yquem). Un beau bois bien rond. Après lecture j’ai vu noix, et j’avoue que je peux voir la noix dedans (type macadamia caramélisée). Bouche : dans la lignée du nez, très gourmand, très gras. On y retrouve un boisé avec des arômes d’oranges, de caramel, de sucre roux. La noix macadamia est là. Finale : moyenne, très ronde, les noix s’effacent pour laisser place aux fruits et à la gourmandise equilibré d’un beau bois. Un peu en deçà et plus simple que le nez et la bouche.
