Clarendon S.B.S Jamaica EMB 2015
Most tasters land in the same place: a young Clarendon EMB that punches above its 7 years. Tropical fruit and esters hit first, then smoky wood, leather and a spicy, roasted edge. One member called it "funky yet sweet Jamaican," and the cask-strength alcohol is mostly well integrated. The catch a few note: the finish runs short, and a couple find it a touch angular and hot late.

Fruity EMB nose that falls off quite slightly on the palate compared to older counterparts. In the finish, he has tasty neat power.

Now we're getting there. I could get the nose as soon as the glass was poured. Typical Jamaica fruity and esters right in your face. Love the spices and smoky wood binding everything together. Nice and warm finish though kind of short 😊

Mein jüngster Clarendon bisher im Glas. Aber ich muss sagen dass er sehr gut gefällt. Finde ihn ziemlich süffig. Die Aromen kommen hier sehr schön zum Vorschein. Insgesamt ist der Alkohol meines Erachtens auch gut eingebunden, was ihn zu einem netten Sipper macht.

Nice rum, in the nose esters some very light nail polish and tropical fruits. On the palate quite true to the nose some funk and leather on the palate followed by tropical fruits not really any nail polish. Medium finish i wish it was a bit longer and more complex but maybe that is due to the age.
