Most tasters land in the same spot: a bright, intense white Long Pond TECA that shines mixed and less so neat. Expect glue and ester up front, ripe banana and pineapple, a whiff of iodine, and an oily texture that leaves nice legs in the glass. Several found it near-identical to the SBS version. A few enjoy it neat; most call it a "schöner Mixer."

Funky and fruity Long Pond with intense esters, tropical fruits, glue and varnish. A medium-long, dry finish brings lingering fruit and ester notes. Complex and characterful, with plenty of Jamaican funk. Delicious, intense and rewarding for ester lovers.

Tested against the S.B.S in my opinion there is no recognizable difference, at least not for me. Presumably both have the same origin, they have just been bottled in different bottles. Again, not really my cup of tea on its own, but certainly quite suitable as a mixer.

Another surprisingly good white and again the price tag is very good compared to what you get. Intense and fruity with some glue and iodine. Oily on the palate and also nice curtains in the glass. Wonderful flavours from the empty glass after an hour or so.
