Rest & Be Thankful Clarendon Kirsch Whisky Exclusive MMW 2000
Neat is the only way in, and even then it fights back: at 66.6% the heat and herbs hit before the fruit does. Give it air and a few drops of water and it opens into mango, papaya, lemon and vinegary ester over dry oak. Members love the intense Monymusk profile but agree it's no easy sipper — bitter, astringent, and demanding.

How does Rest & Be Thankful Clarendon Kirsch Whisky Exclusive MMW 2000 taste?
Aggregated from 14 community reviews.
Fierce cask-strength Monymusk, fruity but demanding Intense, distinct Monymusk that rewards patience — several find the alcohol only "recht als schlecht" integrated and the bitter side too loud. Water and rest help a lot.

Very intense and distinct MM profile. Rather on the fruity side. Very powerful with plenty of flavors - no easy sipper. Like it!Edit: A few drops of water go a long way with this one.Edit2: A couple of weeks oxidation in the opened bottle also helped to smoothen out some of the harsher edges - really enjoyable after all

A classic but not outstanding MMW. The alcohol is more fairly than poorly integrated! The sharp bitter side prevails!
Review by Johannes
Würzig, adstringierend, trocken, etwas bitter. Alkohol könnte einen Ticken besser eingebunden sein.

Quite average monymusk, a little too bitter and too acidic for me and alcohol not well enough integrated...
