Clément Clément Rare Cask Collection Coup de Foudre 2002
Heavy roast and dry wood lead here, not the grassy sugarcane you'd expect from a Martinique agricole — several members were surprised how smoky, spicy and even savory it turned out. Cinnamon and nutmeg run through it, with pineapple and mango arriving late. The palate shows more agricole character than the nose, oily and floral, though a couple of tasters found it a touch bitter.

Day trip Baltrum September 2024 A Clement Rare Cask Collection (Coup de Foudre 2002) (sample from Saibot Ztar). This one drops a little again. Nose is quite soft and balanced. Then very smoky and spicy on the palate, would say cinnamon and nutmeg.

It is a good rum, but unfortunately it does not necessarily meet my taste profile on which I currently stand. Therefore, unfortunately, a better rating is not possible. But he has in any case once again expanded my rum horizons.

Considering the price on this rum it actually classifies as one of the great ones. They packed a lot of flavours into this rum and I'm happy I got one of these as well.

Voller Erwartung öffnete ich diese Flasche... ich steh total auf die Clement Rare Cask Serie . Die Nase ist ziemlich anders als erwartet weniger Fruchtig Blumig mehr Holzig und Speckig 😲😲... Saltzig und etwas Zimt. Später kommt Ananas und Mango dazu . Am Gaumen Ölige Konsistenz... viel mehr Agricole Gene im Mund ... Blumig, Floral Ananas Mango Traube etwas Minze . Gaumen gefällt mir um einiges besser. Diese Rare Cask ist anders als die anderen 🤣🤣

Schöne Nase nach Frucht, Agricole, Schokolade, Zuckerrohr und Röstaromen. Im Mund geht es angenehm weiter, vielleicht etwas unausgewogen mit wenig Fruchtanteil. Da gefällt mir der Abgang schon wieder mehr, da Frucht (Himbeer?) anwesend ist und sich ein ausgewogenes Bild ergibt.

Und der nächste Clement. In der Nase sehr weich und wirklich sehr wenig zu erkennen. Erst bei genauerer Betrachtung kommen Gerüche wie Holz oder ganz leicht Früchte zum Vorschein. Alles in allen aber solide
