TCRL Worthy Park Transcontinental Rum Line Jamaica 2016
Most people land on "nice but not wild" here — a young Worthy Park that does the job without amazing anyone. The nose is all esters and glue, but the palate turns surprisingly fruity: ripe banana and pineapple over burnt sugar, with a peppery kick. A few call the finish short, and one member happily drank it neat but still wouldn't buy a bottle.

How does TCRL Worthy Park Transcontinental Rum Line Jamaica 2016 taste?
Aggregated from 46 community reviews.
Fruity young Worthy Park, short finish Most tasters call it a good, honest young Worthy Park — fruity banana-pineapple palate, well-integrated heat for its age. The common gripe: a bit flat with a short finish.

The aniseed notes are very pleasant for this WP.
Review by Winetrader
The nose is very marked by esters. It's relatively complex and flashy. On the palate, it's very powerful and ethereal, and you quickly feel the fire. Then it's very pleasant and long, with fine balance.
Review by cigares
A nose marked by controlled esters, with ripe banana and pineapple. Pleasant on the palate, the alcohol is well integrated and the fruit is well present with cedar wood. The finish is a little short on fruit and cedar. A very pleasant rum for the price.

A simple young Jamaica to match the price. Already in aroma it's funky, so I expect, a little glue, a little fruit. The taste is pleasantly pungent, nothing bothers me there. Maybe just a very short finish, where the cask makes its first little sound.

Vertical of TCRL 2012, 2013, 2016 WP's. This one has quite a bit of heat, but also some nice nose and fruit notes. Could drink without water as well. This and the 2013 are far better than the 2012.

Very caramel on the nose. There is a slight banana on the mouth
Review by crazyforgoodbooze
Solid entry level Overproof worthy park but nothing ultra wild. Typical banana, nutmeg and wood combination, aromatic and alcohol surprisingly well integrated for its young age. Can definitely be made.

Good bottle, but too strong for me
