Dràm Mòr Diamond Single Cask Rum 2011
Members land around 8/10 and mostly agree: this is a rounded, easy-drinking Diamond. Expect dark chocolate, banana, salted caramel and vanilla, with licorice, anise and a little pencil-shaving oak underneath. One taster even pegged it as an Enmore blind. The one recurring gripe is that at 55% the alcohol isn't quite fully knitted in yet — it rests better after some air.

Chocolate-and-banana Diamond, easy evening sipper Well-liked, rounded Guyanese single cask — chocolate, banana and salted caramel, with a real Buffalo Trace bourbon-finish sweetness. A few note the alcohol isn't fully integrated.

#6566 28.03.2026 - Part 3 The first online tasting of 2026 of the group we had in Shanghai. Funny that we are now living in different parts of the world again. Singapore, Sweden, UK, Denmark and Thailand 😊 Thank you for the samples Petter. Another good bargain once rested for a while. The nose is round and full of vanilla, banana, coconut and light coffee. The wood is light and there is also pencil shavings in there. The palate is light and well balanced with light roasted wood, ginger, salt, caramel and light pencil shavings. The finish is long and medium intense with light wood, tobacco, light tea, prunes and anise.

Good but alcohol could be better intregrated

Tasted at the Hielander whisky festival Alkmaar 2024. Tasted this in between loads of other stuff. My thought this is an Enmore. Creamy. Salted caramel. Nice.

Read full review →At the price its not going to break the bank either. It's the kind of rum you could happily have a couple of glasses of an evening, without having to scrutinise in too much detail. This has a really good balance of flavour and I think the Buffalo Trace finish...
