The current version of this rum is milder and less heavy. Caramel/honey is more prominent on the nose, palate and finish. Red wine and peppery spices are much less present than in its predecessors. The roasted and fruity notes are also positive.

Pretty decent old rum from the Canary Islands. Cane juice based. 22 years. If only this had more ABV%. Not too sweet. Dry/red wine/port tones. Red fruits. Very easily likable.
