Made for people already deep into Hampden's high-ester world: this HLCF hits with glue and ester on the nose, then pineapple, banana and mango on the palate, with olive and a little licorice bitterness. Several tasters call it one of the better recent HLCF bottlings — rounder, with the alcohol well tucked in for a 5-year-old at 60%. Not one to ease into.

This is so far for me the best Hampden with the Mark HLCF!He comes round, complex and absolutely coherent therefore! The fruit, spice and wood are perfectly balanced, nothing dominates, but alternates harmoniously!Top!

Dieser Hampden erinnert mich schon viel mehr an einen Hampden, wie die Dinger aus der 8 Marks Collection. In der Nase halt überwiegend Ester am Gaumen kommt dann noch eine gewisse Fruchtigkeit bestehen aus Ananas und Banane hinzu. Echt lecker.

Also a very nice release. Fruity with some esters and nice wood and spices. I like the smoky touch in the finish and the empty glass reveals nice chocolate notes.

Stands out extremely positively in a direct comparison of the two2016 Hampdens, which were released under the aegis of Velier. Clearly more harmonious and with far better integration of the alcohol.

Very tasty ester fruit bomb. The alcohol is very well integrated for the young age. The high ester content is much more noticeable here than in the older HLCF that have been released recently.

An der Nase Zitrusfrüchte, buttrige Noten, Ester, Klebstoff, etwas Lakritz, tropische Früchte und Vanille und metallische/medizinische Noten. Für meinen Geschmack insgesamt etwas zu sehr auf der bitteren, lakritzigen Seite.
