04-05.11.2022 Den Danske Rom & Whiskyfestival 2022. Another return to this big event where many people go to get drunk. Once again we had a special event for a select set of people. Notes. Not a bad rum with nice fruits once rested for a good while. If you don't rest it it'll bite you. Smoky/roasted wood with a herbal touch. Very long and warm finish.

Personally, it's too bitter, sour and smells of burnt caramel and wet tobacco. Not bad, but not really my profile either. Could be much rounder and less spicy... Sorry😆

A solid Barbados rum, nothing special. Aroma OK, taste average.

Very expressive nose, beautiful aromatics with intense coconut! This is Barbados. This is followed by notes of hot milk chocolate and vanilla. Very gourmand on the nose, the palate is a little less so, but you can still taste the Watt, with the same aromatic palette as on the nose and a little extra "saltiness". Long on the palate, the finish is warm with burnt coconut and aged wood.

A very sweet nose of vanilla, coconut and spices, followed by a hint of milk chocolate. The palate is a little piquant at first, then fruit, spices and a bitterness close to disturbing. Medium finish. Good, but not worth the price.
