HSE Cuvée de l'an 2018
Ti punch drinkers, this one's aimed at you. A white agricole built on fresh sugarcane, lime and light citrus, with a peppery kick and a round, almost oily body at 50%. Several French members call it the ideal ti punch rum, and a couple rate the 2012 and 2016 cuvées a touch richer. One taster wished it hadn't been diluted so far.

Fresh, peppery white agricole made for ti punch Widely rated a fine everyday agricole and a natural in ti punch. A few regulars find earlier cuvées more expressive, and one notes the finish stops short.

Super rapport qualité/prix mais, à mon sens, en dessous des cuvées 2012 et 2016 plus gourmandes. Pour des ti punchs de qualité supérieur c'est le rhum idéal.

A good agricole that shouldn't have been diluted. tl;dr: Very pleasant vegetal taste that just ends abruptly and the mild taste of the water comes up.
