High Spirits Collection Enmore Magnum 1971
Sip this one neat and slow — it's a heavy, oily old Enmore Demerara from 1971, dark and thick from the first pour. Expect dried plum, coffee, cocoa and molasses, with pipe tobacco and a smoky, faintly bitter finish. One taster called it "grosses Theater" — pure old-Demerara opulence. A couple noted the classic Enmore smoke-and-ash sits quieter here than in some sibling vintages.

How does High Spirits Collection Enmore Magnum 1971 taste?
Aggregated from 17 community reviews.
Thick, smoky old Demerara sipper Deeply loved by everyone who tried it — thick molasses, coffee, chocolate and a long bitter close. A rare, super-limited old Demerara; the only quibble is muted Enmore ash.

Great theater - old Demerara in grandiose opulence. On the nose and palate with an oily texture, heavy molasses sweetness, smokiness and dry fruits, which are more restrained in the other well-known vintages of the 70s Demeraras. Either way, it remains a great pleasure.

Herausragender Demerara. Leicht hinter dem Rendsburger 1975 im Direktvergleich.
