Trois Frères Distillery Takamaka Coco Rum
"The better Malibu" is how one member sums it up, and that's the honest frame: at 25% this is really a coconut liqueur, not a rum. Expect big coconut, vanilla and plenty of sugar, with a slight spirity edge some tasters didn't love. A few call the coconut natural and pleasant; others find it artificial and syrupy. Where it shines is in a Pina Colada.

Tagesausflug Münster Juli 2025. Kneipe Bar Levin. Hier gibt es drei Takamakas die mir noch fehlen. Als erstes den Kokosnuss. Eigentlich gar nicht so schlecht, zwar relativ süß, aber die Kokosnuss und Vanille gleichen das ziemlich gut aus.

A 25%, on le qualifierait plutôt comme une liqueur de noix de coco. A utiliser exclusivement pour des cocktails long-drinks (type Pina colada ou autre ...), très sucré avec un léger goût de vanille mais très bon au final.

Extrem süß, fast schon seifig und sirup-artig und eher künstlich wirkend. Hat was von Bounty Kokos Riegeln und dazu auch noch leicht sprittig... Da gibt's deutlich bessere Vertreter von Kokos Rum meiner Meinung nach!

Ein Besuch der Takamaka-Destillerie lohnt sich! Während der Pandemie hat sich die Destillerie neben ihrer qualitativ hochwertigerem Pot-Still aus frischem Zuckerrohrsaft von den Seychellen in sehr kleinen Mengen ein zweites Standbein durch eine dreifach Column-Still aufgebaut, die mit Melasse aus dem Ausland (Mauritius) arbeitet. Damit kann kontinuierlich in großen Mengen produziert werden, wobei hiermit das Cocktail- and Anfängersegment bedient wird. Durch die dreifache Destillation entsteht ein sehr neutraler Rum, der im Nachgang mit Aromen (z.B Fruchtessenzen, Zimt, Vanille, manchmal auch mit Farbstoff und Zucker) versetzt wird. Dieser Rumlikör ist etwas besser als die Ananasvariante. Das neue Segment hilft der Destillerie finanziell, aber ein Qualitätsrum entsteht dabei nicht.

Sehr schöne, natürliche Kokosnote. Wertet viele Longdrinks auf, statt Monin Kokossirup lieber den Takamaka verwenden. Besonders Pina Coladas rocken damit ungemein.

Künstlich aromatisiert, stark gesüßt, hat nur 25% ABV und schmeckt trotzdem spritig … das muss man erstmal hinkriegen.

Neni moc co k tomu dodat jen ze je to jak kokosova pralinka, nebo bounty mene ochucene,pripadne mene sladke malibu :) kdyby to melo vice voltu a min cukru tak by to skoro chutnalo jako novy Planterey coconut.. Manzelce moc chutnal , ja nepohrdl a do michacek pomer cena/vykon super neni o cem, na leto do lednicky urcite pribude.

Mixed with coke certainly goes down well. Great mixer, a much sweeter rum and very clear notes of caramel and raisen other than coconut
