The Duppy Share White
Most tasters land in a happy middle: this is a soft, fruity Jamaican pot-still white, heavy on raspberry and strawberry with a light funk and a creamy, almost bubblegum edge. Several call it "funky ripe bananas" and old-school confectionery. It skips the raw, aggressive side of typical white Jamaicans — one person even called it a slap then a hug. A few find it a touch artificial and thin.

How does The Duppy Share White taste?
Aggregated from 39 community reviews.
Soft, fruity Jamaican white with light funk Most people enjoy it: light, red-fruit-heavy and gently funky, surprisingly nice sipped and lovely in a daiquiri. The catch — some find it a little artificial and it can vanish in mixes.

Nosing Funkyness jamican that I can smell cloves and spice .. reminds me of a weakened wray and nephew... This would be the Clarendon element in the blend .... Tasting Funky pineapple followed by loads of citrus ... For the price point I am struggling to find a better white rum that has a Jamaican fruity flavour

Kneipe The Rumah Rotterdam April 2026. Wow, wie haben die denn diesen Rum hinbekommen? Wirklich sehr funky und auch sehr fruchtig, überwiegend rote Früchte wie Erdbeere und Himbeere sind hier erkennbar. Top.

The nose is full on raspberry. It's hard to smell anything else almost. There's a little Jamaican funkiness and mineral notes too but it's very much in the background. The palate sticks with the raspberry but there's also a surprising creaminess and some ginger to add a little spice. The finish is a little short but there is shorter out there. Syrupy honey and ginger linger for a while. Much better than I was expecting. A nice sipper especially for those who like raspberries and rums on the sweeter side. I also made a daiquiri which was lovely, lots of old school confectionery notes.

Pleasant unaged rum, very fruity and floral

This will be exciting in cocktails! And an update…this made for an amazing Daiquiry. Cool funky banana flavours in my mouth. Love it.

This is great and very different. It lacks the raw vegetal agressive elements of typical Jamaica ovenproof white rums, but is delicate, refined and has an unusual bubblegum quality. Funkalicious! Then nose is strawberry, raspberry and tropical fruits. Mouth funky bubblegum and juicy fruit chewing gum. It’s unusual and well balanced, long subtle finish. Works surprisingly well sipped. I’m a fan, would be fun to try in a daiquiri

Very light and fruity. Raspberry & Litchi forward, creamy, a bit artificial though but fine in a Daiquiri

Aroma average with a little Jamaica, but rather flat in taste. OK for cocktails.

Bardzo łagodny i owocowy - nie moje klimaty ale mogę polecić. Zdaje się lekko mdły i znika w koktajlach. Zapach: Mango, słodkie owoce, kwiaty, landrynki, śmietanka, maliny, Smak: Mango, klej, kwiaty, śmietanka, słodycz, maliny, mięta, minimalny funk, jagody, landrynki, róża, suszone kwiaty i zioła

The nose was extremely off puting to start, but I returned after a few minutes and it mellowed, I get the red fruits that other mentioned but it’s hidden behind a front of pure alcohol. The taste is very pleasant, further red fruit with nice sweetness. Short finish, very pleasant
