Rum Shark Travellers Single Vintage 2014
Here's the surprise: at 70.3% this Belize Travellers barely feels its strength on the nose — white chocolate, apricot and caramel, more roasted wood and coffee once it opens. Give it 20 minutes in the glass or the alcohol flattens everything. A few tasters found it drying and astringent, wishing the seven years had run longer. Rewards patience over gulping.

How does Rum Shark Travellers Single Vintage 2014 taste?
Aggregated from 36 community reviews.
Chocolatey cask-strength Belize that needs air A pleasant, chocolate-and-caramel Belize that needs time to breathe. Most like the nose more than the palate — some find it astringent and a touch young for a 70% cask strength.

14.05.2022 Had a nice meet up with some nice rums, good friends and also new rum enthusiasts. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light roasted wood, light chocolate, light citrus, spice, light herbs, anise, intense. Palate Intense, light wood, spicy, warm, light chocolate, spice, faint herbs, light anise, light citrus, raisin. Finish Long and warm, wood, light roasted, prunes, light chocolate, herbs. Extra note. Needs to rest for a good while or the ABV will kill most of the flavours.

Vyšší abv rozvibruje jazyk, krátký a hřejivý závěr. Perfetní parťák do daiquiri.

The smell is very nice. Very. White chocolate and apricot. Taste is mild, nice start and body, but no aftertaste.
