A lovely nose. Lots of gluey esters, a medley of tropical fruits and a subtle woodiness. The palate keeps all the fruit from the nose. The wood is dialed up and there's a rooty, licorice note. More spicy than the nose would suggest. Caramel dominates the finish. Which is quite long. The wood and licorice hang around too. A top notch Jamaican rum for those that love the style.

His Jamaican origin can not hide this rum. On the palate and especially in the aftertaste but unfortunately very barrel-heavy. The Clarendon profile is clearly recognizable.

Very tropical fruit on the nose, with a green banana base. Full-bodied palate with banana, wood and green pepper. Long finish with woody aromas and an earthy touch. The nose is top-notch, but the palate lacks sweetness, liveliness and balance.

A Jamaican with a nice explosion of flavor. On the nose, ripe fruit, classic for a jam! In the mouth, it's strong. A sweet side, well spiced with pepper notes. Slight bitterness at the end!
