Velier Casimir Clairin Casimir Friends 2015
Strawberry and coconut lead here, with candied fruit and a little marshmallow softness over a clear sugarcane backbone. This is a Haitian clairin from Casimir, pot-distilled and aged five years, so you also get that farmyard funk and a lick of anise. One French taster called it very original for its "côté bonbon à la fraise" — jammy strawberry candy. Fruit-forward and easy for a clairin, though the alcohol pushes through.

Un rhum très étonnant. Ce n'est pas le plus grand rhum que j'ai bu mais il est très original avec son nez très fermier et son côté bonbon à la fraise.

By buying this bottle the proceeds go to charity for the hard hit people of Haiti! Unlike the vaval you can feel less of the whiskey barrel imprint but still it is a very easy drinking rum is very fruity! You open it on a carefree evening with your friends!

Ve vůni kandované ovoce, jahody, marshmelouny. V chuti stále domininatní ovoce, jahody spíš lesní. Intenzivní alkohol a přes sladkej profil rumu se to po polknutí láme do takového zvláštního čehosi. Závěr spíš krátký.
