Neisson Profil 105 bio
Most tasters land in the same place: a young, clean Neisson agricole that punches above its age. Expect grassy sugarcane and hay, a buttery, almost popcorn-like note, light oak and vanilla. Opinions split on whether it's for sipping or mixing — some call it too "unspektakulär" neat, others love it pure. A few find the buttery richness borders on too much.

A young and organic Neisson with a very versatile profile. The nose goes in all directions between woody, vegetal, pastry, spicy, some fruit and sweet notes. In the mouth, we find more the fruity and floral side with very round notes of citrus fruits and peaches in particular. The sugar cane also appears with some spicy notes. The long finish shows a slight bitterness with nuts and dried fruits. The nice balance between the aromas and the roundness of the profile make it a pleasant rum to drink on the length.

78 points. Nice vegetal notes that aren’t too overpowering with some wood and caramel. Lovely nose. Quite buttery on the palate with sugarcane, vanilla and vegetal notes, a rather interesting profile for a rum this young.

👃 = orange, apricot, toasted walnut, a little spice and some herbaceous notes. 👄 = the straightforward attack is tamed by a mellow, gourmet, roasted, vanilla-flavored and slightly sweet spirit, with decent length.

Once you get over the irritating olfactory impression of popcorn and above all bourbon, a really pleasant surprise awaits you on the palate, drinkable, Agricole par excellence.

Closer to a good Neisson white than to an old Neisson, it is an original and interesting rum

Very greedy and buttery, almost too much for my taste I find it a bit sickening. I prefer the classic 105.

Super tasty very clean Agricole that comes up with strong herbal notes. Something buttery is there and young wood in the taste. No Agricole for Ti'Vieux but to drink neat.

The first thing that comes to my nose is something nutty, hazelnut. And vanilla. A bit earthy and grassy with the sweetness of sour cherry. More tart on the palate. The nuttiness now goes more in the direction of grassy herbs, but there is also a certain bitter sweetness of citrus peel.In the finish more towards hay, slightly bitter and the sugar cane comes through.

J’y retourne !
