Then a nice Clairin to round off the day. I think it's a great rum. I think the nose is great, beautifully herbal, somehow rotten and some ester is recognizable. The palate is also very herbal, a little fruity and sugar cane is also recognizable.

Rotten on the nose, also yoghurt and sugar cane, some esters. The palate initially tastes of meadow, then pear, herbs and a hint of sake unfold. Meadow again on the finish. Alcohol well integrated. A crazy combination, as with all the Clairins tested today

Just my thing! Beguilingly fruity on the nose. Powerful on the palate, long lasting. Grassy? I don't taste any grass. 🤷♂️ Definitely incredible in Ti Punch. Who makes me one? 😉

Not too bad actually and pretty good for a young white rum. Price to quality is also very good on this bottle. The nose also hits you right in the face from pouring then fruity with sugarcane, spices and grass. As it rests it settles a bit. The palate is warm and oily with fruits, spices and grass trailed by herbs and light mint. The finish is medium long and warm with apple, spices and a vegetal note.

Schöner Clairin, nicht so abgedreht wie andere ungelagerte Vertreter, dennoch die Nase voller Klebstoff, Ester und Wiese. Das bestätigt sich auch am Gaumen und auf der Zunge, Zuckerrohr, Gras und überreifes Obst, schöne Esternoten und ein gut eingebundener Alkohol. Muss ich mal in Cocktails probieren, pur recht süffig und nur bedingt was für nebenbei aufm Sofa

Lots of glue. Lots of yellow and green fruits. But overall quite unbalanced. Surely ingenious Ti Punch or Daiquiri possible with this. Pure, it has a hard time convincing me. In fact, a slight burn in the finish.

Fruity & complex, my favorite Clairin by far. Nose is fruity & sugar cane, palate is ester & grass, finish is a bit spicy & vetegal. Really good in ti punch and fantastic value as I got a bottle for 33€. Vegetal & tropical funk, really unique

I prefer the Vaval.freshness but weak length in mouth.aromas of overripe fruits hover during all the tasting.
