Caramel, cherry wood and pecan lead the nose, then the palate turns grassy and herbal with a peppery bite and a cooling menthol finish. This is a cask-strength J.M agricole aged six years, and most tasters call it a genuinely pleasant sipper — though a couple felt the herbs and spice take over more than they'd like.

Nutty, sweetish on the nose with dried fruits and herbs. This continues on the palate until the herbs take over. Wood and herbs alternate, the finish is accompanied by a strong menthol note. slightly bitter. A little too many herbs for me.

Un nez très agréable, doux et sucré, avec des notes de caramel et de cerise. La bouche est d'abord douce et boisée. La finale plutôt pimentée. Regoûter en février 2025 chez Thomas R. Toujours trop épicé à mon goût.

#6368 19.02.2026 Relaxing with a few samples while watching Body Cam on HBO Max. This is a really nice JM and the price tag is also pretty good. Well balanced in ABV and wood and a nice spicy palate. Spice fruit and some herbs finish up the nice well rounded flavours.

A very pleasant mild sweet nose of caramel, cherry and pecan. The palate is initially sweet woody, slight pimento heat and later herbaceous grassy! The finish is predominantly grassy - hay notes with a hint of herbs! A beautiful sipper!

My first tasting in a few weeks, as the kids bring home everything that besieges the nose and throat. But what an entry. I really like it. Almost quaffable with lots of caramel and nice spice. The grassy notes are there and round out this great Agricole. From memory, one of the best JMs I've tasted so far.
