This one also needs to rest for a good while because it's really intense. Not as fruity but fresh with lovely floral/Agricole notes. Dry, warm and intense on the palate and a very long finish.

Wow. La claque est monstrueuse ! Des fruits rouges, cerise, framboise, des fruits exotiques, des esters, la saumure, l’olive typique de chez Savanna… le nez bien suivi par la bouche, une finale réconfortante, un beau gras… monstrueux ! A la recherche d’une quille activement !

Reminds me of sitting and eating olives in a nice garden during the summer months. Both in the nose and mouth. A very surprising rum.

Thanks to Filip for providing both samples, which allowed me to make a direct comparison. I preferred this one over the previous version with the lower ABV, as it shows some lovely ester notes along with sour cherry and citrus. The alcohol is also nicely integrated here.

Goûté au SoRhum Bordeaux donc pas les meilleures conditions possibles mais il aura fallu beaucoup nettoyer mon palais pour se séparer de ce rhum très olive en bouche. c'est fort et puissant. Végétal mais également sur la saumure. A goûter.

No a tady naopak můžeme ochutnat savanna v příjemné síle plnou oliv, květinových tónu. Chuti přijemný, komplexní a byť je to abv opravdu vysoké tak je to krásně integrované, nic nekouše…. Opravdu dobrota!
