Copaltree Copalli White Rum
Sip it neat and it drinks close to an agricole: fresh grass, sugarcane and a clear lychee note running through a very light body. One taster called it a distillate they'd "never smelled or tasted before," and the cane-juice, vegetal character is the appeal. Mild and gentle though — a few found the palette narrow and the finish short. Cocktails suit it well too.

Aggregated from 20 community reviews.
Grassy, mild cane-juice white, agricole-style Grassy, lychee-tinged cane-juice white that reads like an entry-level agricole. Most enjoy the vegetal character but wish it hit harder — the body is light and the finish fades fast.

My first impression and a deep inhale was, “Woah.” This is truly a distillate I’ve never smelled or tasted before. At no point do I get a feeling of alchoholic burn (although this is my 3rd tasting today so maybe I’m just numb to it 😂). However I can distinctly point out a tropical fruit, Lychee and fresh grass all the way through which is amazingly interesting and odd. I’ll have to try this in a cocktail soon.

"Yeah. I'd heard a lot of good things about it but I don't know why. To sum up, my tasting notes: On the nose: Sugarcane, Vegetal In the mouth : Sugarcane, Vegetal The finish is more towards: Sugar cane".

Tastes like a beginner agricole. Not bad but also nothing special...
Review by Decky Hicks Doughty
Smells very similar to a Rhum Agricole. Lots of grassy, vegetal notes. The palate follows from the nose but it is rather mild. A little bitter towards the end. A short finish. Mainly tropical fruits with a hint of tree sap. Overall, not a bad white rum. I like the agricole notes but I wish it was a bit more punchy.
Review by Émile Shevek
The nose is delicate and fragrant with cane, vegetable, burnt sugar, citrus and also ripe pineapple. The palate is very light with a fine sweetness, some citrus, pineapple/banana, medicinal, some distant vegetal notes. Non-existent finish, too much dilution.
Review by Renato
A very vegetal and wise rum. The aromatic palette is limited and doesn't last long.
