Latitudes O Reizinho Rum Agricola da Madeira
Only nine months old, yet tasters keep calling it complex — that's the surprise here. Fresh grassy sugarcane leads, then honey, plum and a butter-cream softness, with peppery dryness and a touch of tobacco underneath. One reviewer even caught a faint mezcal-like smoke. A few find the 57.5% alcohol not quite tucked in yet, but the cream body wins people over.

Very fruity nose that opens on vanilla. Notes of aniseed as well. In the mouth, cane and tobacco dominate. A very good esb that keeps the strength of the white with some notes of barrel.

Sehr sehr lecker und für 20€ vor Ort ein Schnäppchen ! Geile Note nach Pfirsich Eistee, Mirabellenmarmelade und Honig und Gebäck! Außerdem leicht rauchig wie mezcal 💣 deutliches Upgrade durch den höheren Alkohol Gehalt!

Thanks to Pedro Ferreira who gave my in-laws some rum samples :-) Very impressive rum for 9 months of aging. Already complex, interesting caramel nose with dairy products, floral notes and fruits. In the mouth spicy dry and sweet and fruity at the same time. In the finish a dry and spicy tea flavor accompanied by sweet fruit.

It’s a great Rhum being so young that I really can recommend.By the way is the Agricole’s from Madeira the only ones outside the French Overseas Departments that’s widely recognized as true Agricole’s.
