Number 4 in the Tastillery Advent calendar. A crystal-clear Agricole. Although, it comes from Mexico... so it's not really that French ;-) On the nose, sugar cane, earthy, slightly spicy. On the palate, lots of sugar cane, green notes, minerality, and perhaps a tiny bit of salt. A light, really very light and soft smoky note hovers over the whole. In summary, a beautiful white rum.

Read full review →The 46% ABV certainly works well in mixed drinks and cocktails giving the drink just a little bit extra oomph. This is certainly worth keeping an eye out for - if you do see it for sale at around the £40 mark or less then I wouldn't hesitate in picking...
