Rum Nation British Guyana Limited Edition
"Muss man aber Lust drauf haben" is how one member puts it — this is a dry, spicy Guyanese at cask strength. Expect the classic Demerara pepper and earthy wood, plus leather, caramel, coffee and a clear sherry note through the middle. It needs air to open; several tasters say the nose lags the palate until you give it time in the glass.

- Fair value

How does Rum Nation British Guyana Limited Edition taste?
Aggregated from 45 community reviews.
Dry, peppery cask-strength Guyana Well liked as a heavy, peppery Guyana at a fair price. Sherry influence divides opinion, the finish runs a touch rough, and it's dry enough that it's not an everyday pour.

Kneipe Alte Post Witten Februar 20225.

- Several years since last tasting and the bottle is nearing empty, but still quite good.

On the nose and palate, sherry predominates. I am not the biggest sherry fan, so he does not take the 80 points hurdle with me. Nevertheless, a round and powerful rum with a good PLV.

Blend from French Savalle, wooden Coffey and double wooden pot still ticking the classic Guyana boxes including Enmore and Port Mourant. Needs quite some time in the gas to open up.

Sehr starke Holztöne. Intensive eiche und taninine. Ein wenig röstaromen mit würze und fruchtigkeit. Kein schlechter rum.

More round than the 7 year old

Very good valmue for money in this rum. And a classic example of a Guyana rum with the heavy preppery earthy spices that stays on the palate and evolves as you go
