CDI Caraïbes - Port Cask Finish (Perola 10th Anniversary)
Plum, raisin and a warm hit of port sweetness lead here, backed by vanilla, a little chocolate and light oak. Members call it an easy "everyday sipper" — fruity, round and soft at 40%. The port finish is well integrated and drives most of the flavor. A couple of tasters wished it were less sweet and a touch longer, but nobody had trouble drinking it.

Schöne Fruchttöne. Allerdings finde ich ihn zu süß und zu kurz. Ansonsten wären hier auch 90 Punkte drin gewesen

I think port wine is pretty tasty anyway and this rum has a sweet fruitiness that runs right through it. In addition to the complex fruit, there are spices, caramel and chocolate. The medium-long finish is dominated by plum and grape, with the sweetness rounding off the rum and making it mild.

24.10.2020 Lovely tasting arranged by one of my suppliers of rum. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, fruity, light wood, dried fruit, berries, sweet, Port. Palate Round, light, light wood, sweet, plum, Port, berries, spice, light roasted. Finish Medium long, lightly dry, faint nutts, dried fruit, sweet, plum.
