Habitation du Simon A1710 Renaissance 2021
People who chase fresh, unaged agricole will feel at home here: crushed sugarcane, lime and lemon peel with a salty edge and a soft pear note running through. One taster called it a "coup de cœur" for that pear-and-salt mix. It's a white rum at 52%, so the alcohol shows — one reviewer found the fruit almost overripe and wasn't sold.

I love it! Pear, salt, vegetable, I love it. Always top-notch, we enjoy it every time we open it! To sum up, my tasting notes: Nose: Pear, Vegetable, Sugar cane On the palate: Lemon zest, Yellow fruit, Salty, Peppery, Pear Finish: Salty, Vegetal. Opened again today, the bottle breathes well and the rum remains instact.

un rhum déstabilisant. j'avoue que je ne m'attendais pas à ce type de goût très "fruits blettes". de plus le goût et le nez sont presque en opposition. Un rhum qui ne m'a pas convaincu.

04.07.2025 Retasting and I still like it a lot. Price to quality is very good in my mind. --------------- #5102 Sunday - The last shots before our partners are picking us up 😊 24.01.2025 - 26.01.2025 A nice weekend in my sisters summerhouse with old friends and colleagues tasting a lot of rums. I can only recommend like we did, no phones allowed and then only music in the background 😊 Colour Transparent. Nose Fresh, fruity, banana, light pear, sugarcane, light floral, spice, faint vegetal. Palate Oily, smooth, fresh, fruits, light citrus, light banana, light herbal, sugarcane, medium dry, light vegetal. Finish Medium long, oily, dry, spice, light citrus, light dried fruit. Empty glass Spice, light vegetal, light floral, faint pineapple.

I identify orange, bitterness, which is interspersed with a little acidity and sugar cane prevalent everywhere.
