Père Labat Clos parcellaire les mangles 2021
Neat at 61% it's intense and grass-forward — some love it that way, others reach for water or turn it into a Ti'Punch. Expect fresh-cut cane, lime, herbs and a briny edge that a couple of tasters even likened to clairin. One member calls it the grassiest agricole they've had. The sweetness is light, the finish long and green.

This rum needs to rest for at least 15 minutes in order to release all those lovely flavours. Very fresh from nose to palate with tropical fruits and vanilla and a hint of cane. This one is better than the one with a lower ABV. Very limited release so get one if you like Agricole.

Spirits Museum Tasting 29th of March 2025. A slightly fruity nose, but above all herbaceous and fresh. Quite pure lychee, as if lychee juice had been added. You can feel the lychee on the palate too, with a nice bitterness and acidity. The herbaceous side is very present here too. The finish is rather short.

Edit: I still don't like it neat. But now that I've experimented a little with the rum as a TiPunch, I think it's really great. That's why I've adjusted it upwards again. I think I've found my ultimate TiPunch mixer. It doesn't really suit my taste on its own. But as a mixer for a TiPunch or daiquiri, I think it's very successful.

This is the grassiest Agricole I've had in a glass so far, top! A real recommendation

Pere Labat is always good for a positive surprise. Alcohol is well integrated. Slight sweetness. A very intense bottling with lots of grassy notes, salmiak, olive, herbs. I did not expect this and imo a very interesting bottling.
Review by Rowald Sweet Empire
Very very good white rum. Superb balanced. Vegetal fresh grassy notes. Overripe green grapes. A pleasant sweetness. Easy to drink. Some gin/jenever notes too.

Nose: pear stalk, coconut shell, argave leaf, a little spicy, not my cup of tea Palate: Different than expected, coconut peach, a certain sweetness of cherry and red grape on the finish, only slightly the spiciness from the nose, pleasant
