Famille Ricci Foursquare Exception 2001
Anyone who already loves Foursquare and wants the richest, most indulgent version of it will grin here. Toasted coconut and vanilla lead, with dry oak, a little dark chocolate and ripe tropical fruit behind — one taster reckoned they slipped "a few Bounty bars" in the cask. At 56.8% the alcohol sits well integrated, and the finish just keeps going.

Rich, coconut-vanilla Foursquare at cask strength The consensus calls it the most gourmand Foursquare they've tasted — rich, balanced, long. A couple of tasters found it good but not the peak, and the oak runs strong.

An ultra-gourmand Foursquare. They must have slipped some Bounty into the keg!

Foursquare ultra gourmand.. Excellent
Review by kargoles
A well-crafted, round rum. Complex notes of pineapple, coconut, light cocoa and hints of menthol. Round and greedy.

This is a lovely bottling and I got the nose as soon as I opened the sample. The fruit is there especially coconut that I love in the rums from Barbados followed by the wood and spices in near perfect harmony. The empty glass will release the most wonderful flavours after and hour or so and even the day after you still get some of the flavours. Price to quality is OK.

Good, but doesn't seem exceptional. I prefer some Blackadders. Tasted quickly: to be tried again.

A similar nose and palate. The alcohol is well integrated and the woodiness is really noticeable.
