Diamond is the last working distillery in Guyana, and over the years it absorbed the equipment of the estates that closed around it. That’s why one address now runs the country’s surviving heritage stills — the Enmore wooden coffey, the Port Mourant double wooden pot still, the Versailles single wooden pot — each stamped with its own marque (SVW, PM, EHP, SWR for Skeldon). Bottlings carry those codes rather than just the distillery name.
