Oldman Spirits runs two distinct lines, and it helps to know which you’re holding. The Flensburg Rum Company label is where the serious cask work happens: single casks from Hampden and other Jamaican distilleries, Trinidad’s T.D.L, dark Guyana from Enmore, Versailles and Diamond stills, plus New Yarmouth and Belize’s Travellers. These are usually bottled at cask strength, often above 60%, and the community rates them well — many land between 8.5 and 9.2/10.

The Spirits of Old Man Rum Project is the softer, more commercial side: sweeter Caribbean blends aimed at newcomers. Those score lower, closer to 6.8–7.5/10, and reviewers are candid that they read more like spiced or coconut-forward rums than the FRC releases.
